Cedar Falls High School Ranked Among Top Schools in Iowa

Cedar Falls barely missed making the top 1,000 high schools in the country.

 

Eastern Iowa dominates the list of top high schools in the state, including Cedar Falls High School at No. 6, according to recently released rankings.

The U.S. News and World Report rankings gave Cedar Falls above-average ratings in reading, math, and college readiness, and a below-average rating in student-teacher ratio.

Top ten Iowa high schools (national rank):

1. Washington, Cedar Rapids (555)

2. Kennedy, Cedar Rapids (702)

3. Ames (717)

4. Decorah (790)

5. Linn Mar (947)

6. Cedar Falls (1211)

7. West Liberty (1502)

8. Moc-Floyd Valley, Orange City (1556)

9. Pleasant Valley, Bettendorf (1696)

10. Indianola (1769)
