A Lyric and Elizabeth Open Arms Awareness and Fundraiser event will be held in Cedar Falls this weekend.

The event is being planned Sunday, Aug. 12 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Heartland Vineyard Church, 1405 Greenhill Road.

Tickets will be $7 at the door and free for ages 12 and younger and for any relatives of the families involved.

There will be a silent auction, bake sale, live music and activities for the whole family, including two inflatables, face painting and awareness merchandise.

Lyric Cook-Morrissey, 10, and Elizabeth Collins, 9, have been missing since July 13.

Anyone who would like to help can make a donation at any Veridian Credit Union branch to the Lyric Cook Morrissey and Elizabeth Collins Fund.
