Bubu Palo scored 39 points and grabbed 12 rebounds Friday for Peak Performance, and Nazareth Long poured in 30 and grabbed 15 for ADIO Chiropractic to lead their teams to Sunday's semi-finals in the YMCA Capital City Basketball League.

Peak defeated Coca-Cola, 128-101, to earn a spot against 2nd-seed Capital Orthopaedic in Sunday's opening game, and ADIO defeated the Walnut Creek YMCA, 128-116, and will meet top-seed Patch.com in the day's other semi-final.
There were two other winners: Ross Sales of West Des Moines won a Royce White autographed basketball for his daughter, Sara, who will be attending ISU. And the YMCA's Y Partners program was a winner, too, thanks to the many fans in attendance who contributed to the raffle for the White basketball.
Sunday's semi-final and Championship games move back to Valley Southwoods Freshman High School in West Des Moines. Admission, as always, is free.
