'Presidential Pizza: The Baroccoli Obama,' Adam Scott from Parks and Rec, and More Photos from Obama Stop in Iowa City

A local pizza shop commemorated President Barack Obama's visit to Iowa City on Friday with a pie named in his honor.

It's not everyday (just, almost everyday here in Iowa) that a sitting president comes to town, so an Iowa City pizza shop honored the occasion the best way it knew how.

The Wedge PIzzeria ran a special: "Presidential Pizza: The Baroccoli Obama: Pizza You Can Believe In," their billboard said on Friday.

The shop is located a few hundred yard from the heart of the University of Iowa campus, where President Barack Obama spoke on Friday.

"We'll be serving the Baroccoli Obama all night in honor of the President's visit!! So come get some. The Wedge: "Pizza you can believe in." :-)" they wrote on their Facebook page.

There's no word on whether Obama approved that message.

Meanwhile, Parks and Recreation actor Adam Scott, an Obama supporter, was also in town on Friday. I prefer to remember him for his role in Step Brothers, but it's not like I am handing out Academy Awards.

I came across Scott going incognito in the crowd, and some others did as well. Take a look at the photo of Scott posing with fans.

White House press secretary Jay Carney was also in the house. He could neither confirm nor deny whether he and the presidential party would be dining on presidential pizza later that night.

So, take a look out our photo gallery of fun images from the day. There's a few cute kids, Obama, VP Joe Biden, and some pictures of the crowd, which was estimated at 8,000 people.

If you have any pictures from the event, add them to the photo gallery. And, if there's a story behind it, add it in the comment section.

"Deficit Pie" or "Unemployment Pie" would be more appropriate. If they would charge $51,000 for each pizza, they could pay off one American's share of the national debt with each pizza sold.
