Patch has been giving ongoing coverage to the story of Taylor Morris, a native son and explosive ordinance disposal technician with the Navy, who was badly injured in a bomb blast in Afghanistan.

We wanted to share this video, posted by Morris's friend Ben Hagarty on YouTube, of a great moment in Morris's recovery - the first time he uses a prosthetic arm.

Morris's girlfriend Danielle Kelly had written on CaringBridge.org, a website set up to inform friends and family about Morris's healing progress, that Morris told her that despite losing both hands in the blast, he wants to be able to hold a baby.

This video shows that dream is possible.
