Electronics and Household Toxic Materials Drop-off for Black Hawk County Residents

The Black Hawk County Solid Waste Management Commission will

be partnering with the City of Cedar Falls to provide a toxic materials and

electronics recycling drop-off for all Black Hawk County households. No paint,

motor oil, antifreeze, appliances, or business waste of any type will be

accepted. Please visit WasteTrac.org for details and a listing of accepted

materials.







*Some fees may apply for certain electronics









Approximately 40 volunteers will be assisting with

this 5 hour event. From directing traffic and surveying participants

to unloading chemicals and electronic items from participants'

vehicles, volunteers make this event possible! Adults (age 18 or older) are encouraged to volunteer by calling the Waste Trac

Education Team at 266-8722.
