'Family Guy' Creator Seth MacFarlane Visiting UNI Saturday for Obama Event
The comedian is set to visit Iowa City on Saturday afternoon.
The Obama campaign's Campus Takeover student early voting initiative has included visits this week from Justin Long, Bruce Springsteen, and the president himself.
Rounding out the week will be comedian Seth MacFarlane, creator of the popular animated television show "Family Guy," and co-creator of "American Dad." MacFarlane will visit Drake, the University of Iowa, University of Northern Iowa and Iowa State University on behalf of the Obama campaign and is scheduled to talk to students about the president's policies on affordable healthcare and education.
MacFarlane is scheduled to appear in Cedar Falls on Saturday at 3 p.m. on the University of Northern Iowa Schindler Education Center, Room 244.
