UPDATED Cedar Falls Closings, Cancellations and Snow Emergencies: Winter Storm Draco

With Winter Storm Draco expected to dump 8 to 12 inches on Cedar Falls and much of the rest of the state tonight and tomorrow, cancellations and closings are being announced across the Cedar Valley. The area is under a blizzard warning from 6 p.m. Wed. to 6 p.m. Thursday, thanks to the high winds - gusting at 45 mph - that are predicted to accompany the snow.

The Iowa Dept. of Transportation is recommending no travel after 8 p.m. Wednesday. Check road conditions here.
