UPDATE: Amber Alert Canceled: Children Found Safe, Mother in Custody

Authorities said the alleged abductor is believe to be heavily under the influence of methamphetamine.

Update 10:24 p.m.

A woman is in custody after she and her children were found safe in Nebraska hours after Iowa authorities issued an Amber Alert Tuesday.

Authorities said Cari Eich, 30, allegedly abducted her own children, Parker Labrie, 4, and Lawson Gualazzi, 1 month, in Onawa Tuesday afternoon. She was believed to be under the influence of methamphetamine.

Iowa Department of Safety communications manager Jessica Lown told the Associated Press officials believe Eich is a "non-custodial parent," meaning she did not have custody rights over the children.

Update 9:04 p.m.
The Amber Alert has been canceled.

Parker Labrie, Lawson Gualazzi and Cari Ann Eich have been located. The children are safe, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation.

Update 7:30 p.m.:
The older child that has been reported missing is Parker Labrie, age 4. He was originally reported as Labrie Lawson, age 9.

Iowa authorities have issued an Amber Alert for two missing children.

The children are:
Lawson Gualazzi: white male, one month old, 10 lbs, brown eyes. Last seen wearing a blue sleeper.

Parker Labrie: white male, age 4, 3’ 41’’, 45 pounds, brown hair, blue eyes. Last seen wearing a blue T-shirt and jeans. He was originally reported as age 9 and his name was originally reported as Labrie Lawson.

Authorities believe the children are with Cari Ann Eich. She is described as a white woman age 30, 5’ 11’’, 150 lbs, sandy hair, hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue sweat shirt and jeans. Authorities said she is believed to be heavily under the influence of methamphetamine.

Eich and the children were last seen in Onawa, which is between Council Bluffs and Sioux City in Monona County.

Authorities are looking for a 2002 blue Chevy Silvarado, license plate number 072HMO IOWA.
